This stainless steel mesh cup infuser is a perfect way to brew a cup of tea. The deep tightly woven mesh will hold up to 2 teaspoons of tea leaves, herbs or dried fruit to make a large cup or mug of tea. The extra wide rim sits on almost any size of cup or mug. The basket sits deep into the cup to allow the tea leaves plenty of room to infuse their flavor.
Simply place one to two teaspoons of tea in the infuser and set into a cup of hot water.
Average brew times:
black tea- 3 minutes
green tea- 3 minutes
oolong tea- 3-5 minutes
white tea- 2 minutes
fruit tea- 5 minutes
herb tea- 3 to 5 minutes
The overall width of the infuser is 3 3/4" side to side.
The infuser basket is 2" wide and 2" deep.
