This large 2 1/2" spoon has a large ball that will hold 2 teaspoons of tea to make an extra large cup of tea. The mesh is tightly woven to keep the tea leaves in the ball and not in your cup. Dishwasher safe.
Simply place one teaspoon of tea in the ball, latch and drop into an eight ounce cup of hot water.
Average brew times: black tea- 3 minutes green tea- 3 minutes oolong tea- 3-5 minutes white tea- 2 minutes fruit tea- 5 minutes herb tea- 3 to 5 minutes
