Tea Beverages

Following are delicious recipes for both hot and iced teas.    Each recipe calls for tea bags, however substituting loose tea  for the tea bags will make a much tastier beverage. Use 1 teaspoon loose tea per tea bag.

Spiced Apple Tea

2 cups water

2 cups pineapple juice

2 tea bags of your favorite tea

1 teaspoon whole cloves

2 cinnamon sticks

1 sliced lemon

Heat the water and pineapple juice in a saucepan until boiling.  Add the cloves, cinnamon, lemon, and tea bags.  Allow to simmer 7-8 minutes.  Remove cloves, cinnamon sticks and tea bags. Serve hot.
