Tea Breads

Cream Biscuits

1 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup light cream

Preheat oven to 425°F.
Sift together flour, baking powder, sugar, baking soda and salt.
Stir in sour cream and light cream.
Turn onto a floured surface and knead lightly about 10 times.
Roll out and cut into rounds with a floured cutter.
Place on an ungreased baking sheet.
Bake 8-10 minutes.
